We was told there was open seating and my three brothers, my sister who walks with two canes, my grand nephew and myself was kicked out of the movie because of an ignorant immature black boy who tried to take a couple seat earlier, came over to my brother who is handicapped and tried to make my brother move out of his seat and then tried to fight him. When my other brother told him that he should just walk away his girlfriend dragged him away and then apologize to both my brothers and myself. They then went crying to the manager and police. The so called manager came and told my brother the one who is handicapped the boy tried to fight to follow him and that we was disturbing the theater when we never raised our voices in theater the boy did, then the manager raised his hand like he wanted to push me out I am 67 years old. Three of us followed him out the door while my handicapped sister stayed seated. My nephew and one brother had just returned from getting their food and didn't know want was going on or what happened. When we cleared the doors he said we was going to figure this out the manager then said we had to leave and I told him we was not leaving without my family members he then said they can stay. I made him go back and get them and that we was not going anywhere without them. As my brother, sister and nephew was being made to leave by the manager the boy and girl was let back in to watch the movie. My brother was talking about the theater making us leave when the girl who apolozed to us made a smart comment to him, he did'nt know who she was until me sister told him. I watched and found out that the young black boy came with three girls who knew the two black teenage girl ticket takers. They all stood around laughing and the cops was no better putting five elderly black men and women in their 60s and dam near 70s out of the theater with a 14 year old and two elderly adults was handicapped. I want to sue them so bad for elder abuse and for the handicapped. All of this happened at the start of the 7:45pm movie today in theater 1 on 5-10-2024 if anyone know of a good lawyer please let me know this was clearly elder abuse. I know there are cameras and saw everything that...
Read moreA family member and I went to an AMC on 11/22 to watch a movie. The previews played and 30 minutes later when it was time for the movie to play suddenly the projector was not working. They said our options were either a voucher or a refund. My family member purchased the tickets with apple pay and did not have the physical card with him so the manager said he can either input the card number manually or the refund will need to be in the form of a gift card. So we had to settle for the gift card. We arrived home only to notice the manager had refunded us roughly $5 less than what we paid. I went to the AMC page to read the refund policy. I read about the non-refundable convenience fee for app and website ticket purchases. However, I do not see how the convenience fee can remain non-refundable when we are the inconvenienced party. By this logic not only would we be losing $5 but we would have to pay another $5 in the event we decide to purchase new tickets. I don't see how us losing $10 is the equitable decision for a technology error on AMC's part. I would like a refund of the convenience fee and compensation for a) the 1.5hrs wasted waiting in line to resolve this ordeal, b) the fact that they had no issue giving us a partial refund for their error and adding insult to injury, and c) having to even take the time to write this. Technology issues happen but to punish and disrespect your customers instead of compensating us for the inconvenience is...
Read moreWoodlands, what happened? I used to love going here, even living much closer to Cobb and Cinema cafe and largo. Two years ago I moved to the country side neighborhood only blocks away, recliners went in a really great restaurant opened in the plaza it was awesome. The people cared. One instance, my young son fell smashing his oreos and hurt his knee. Manager Stephanie waiting outside the adjacent theater came over to help. Without being asked called for fresh oreos from concession and averted my sons oncoming melt down. Now a days, there's no one on concession. Getting help is impossible. Information is not correct. An management seems largely uninterested in anything customer service related. I recently had problems with the new A-list promotion. I was told I could use my tickets as credit toward the program. I was told to come in and sign up. However when I did, then the story changed. I was told we cant sign you up, I was told we dont have the right equipment. So I come back with my phone a few days later. Now its tickets are only good day of. Ask for the manager, explain the situation, answer, nothing we can do to help you. No sorry, No effort to help. Just shabby unkempt laziness. Employees represent your company. In all seriousness my stream box plays 90% of the movie's in theaters today. No need to waste my money on people...
