My husband and I went there recently while we were traveling. When we got there, they were very busy, but we gave them our name and waited. We were one of the last ones to be seated, but we were OK with that and we’re excited about eating there. We’ve eaten at one in Houston, Texas and had a positive experience with it, so we were hoping we would here too. I ordered a breakfast fruit bowl of some kind and it was absolutely delicious, I would hands-down give it a five. However, my husband ordered an omelette, and although he said the eggs were cooked perfectly, it just didn’t work work for him. He said he would give it a three and so we summed up the food as a four. I got a side with my breakfast and it was very average, I would give it a three, but I would definitely give my breakfast Fruit bowl a five.
What we were disappointed in was the customer service. Not from the hostess, but more so from our waitress. We very much felt like we were just a number and it just was not our style. There was a mistake made with my food and when I asked about it being fixed, the person told me they would, and then they forgot about it. What happened was, I asked them not to put almond butter on my toast, but please just give me regular butter. When they brought out my meal, and it was not our original server, my toast was dry and there was no butter around it. I asked the person who brought our food if she could bring me some butter 🧈 for my toast and she said she would, but then I saw her going off towards the front and it seemed that apparently she forgot about it. We then waited for our waitress to come, and when she finally did, she at one point, along with everything else she was doing, did go get me some butter, but by the time it got to me, my bread was cold, hard, and dry. I was not asked could I bring you some more or anything like that, but the long wait definitely ruined the flavor of it. My husband also put his empty coffee ☕️ cup at the end of the table, at which we had to wait upon that too, and then she finally told him they would just bring him a carafe. What my husband noticed, was that the other other tables had carafes so they could fill up their own cups as needed, but he was given a half cup originally, and then no one ever returned. Eventually, I think my husband called for our waitress , as he had had his cup sitting at the end of the table empty, and ask her to bring him some more coffee. She said she would, but then went on to do some other things and eventually brought him back the coffee. I would give the customer service a two at the most and hope that the next time I go to another First Watch, I have a positive experience like we...
Read moreWhen I arrived around noon, the place and parking lot were filled to the brim. I was still able to find plenty of parking in the back. Walking in, I passed a few groups who were walking slow with smiles on their faces. That's a good sign.
I was immediately greeted at the door and, being alone, offered to sit at the bar. There were a couple booths and tables still open and by the time I was leaving, I overheard there was a 5 minutes wait. Not bad given the traffic.
The staff were awesome and running around every which way, but always taking the time to address me and the older couple next to me.
I hadn't yet decided on a drink so I just got water. I was given what I would consider fancy water that tasted fresh, not from a tap.
Food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs scrambled. The lady next to me heard my order and changed hers on the spot. Malarie, our server, immediately told the kitchen. Their plates and mine landed on the counter at almost the same time less than 10 minutes later. Outstanding service from the wait staff and kitchen.
10/10 all around. I'll...
Read moreMy mom and I were disappointed at the service from our waitress at this location. We love First Watch and we’re excited to eat at this new location! Our waitress told us she would bring out our drinks when our food came out….we were confused as to why…however she said it was a new policy…wouldn’t one think that if you were drinking a yummy drink while waiting for your food, that you could drink all of it and order another? It would be good business for them? But no….my mom got her drink when her food came out and my drink didn’t come out until AFTER we had finished our food! We asked if mine could at least be taken off our check and our waitress’s exact words were “well if you didn’t want the drink I didn’t have to bring it out.” My mom and I tried explaining to her that’s not what we were saying, that we just wanted to not be charged for it, and as we were talking she walked away and rolled her eyes at us. Long story longer, the manager approved it to be taken off. It did not take away from the fact that it was a terrible experience though. The staff needs to get...
