We live around the corner from Storrs Hill and it serves as a huge asset to our community. We enroll our young children in the ski lessons each year. All of the instructors are volunteers so you have to accept that some seem committed while others not as much. The way we see it, our kids are getting experience on skis no matter how involved the ski instructor. Parents also have the opportunity to help instruct as well. We often jump in and help when our kids are in the snow puppy class. If you want to push your kids or learn more indepth skills such as how to take a fall in the snow, there is always the option of private lessons elsewhere. But we like the community and pace at Storrs Hill. And we appreciate the close proximity to our home. It's also a fun place to go sledding outside of their operating hours!!!
