Sunrise Buffet — Restaurant in Lebanon

Tired this place because I picked up delivery from here when I tried my hands at Ubereats. The Buffett is generously priced but there are some drawbacks.

The ratings and reviews don’t seem to match with what I experienced. I made a small plate and tried most of what was on offer.

I like the crab Rangoon, but that’s hard to mess up.

The sauce on the general Tao chicken was good.

Unfortunately for me, I must of come at the wrong time on the wrong day.

The chicken was rubbery, and soggy. Same for the steaks and meats.

The wonton and dumpling were terrible and I hate to be rude, they were very nice people. But wow so bad.

Honestly, ended up taking 1 bite of everything. And eating 5 crab rangoons and 2 sugar doughnuts. Sugar doughnuts would have been good with some sweetened condensed milk or some type of frosting but they don’t have that.

All in all, not my cup of tea. Might try it again in the future but would have to be when they open so it’s fresh.

Also the price for the buffet is supposed to be $12.45 per person. But the 2 of us came out $35 so it’s actually about $17.50 each for the lunch buffet. If you like the food it would be worth it but It...

Our family has been a long time customer of Sunrise Buffet. Yesterday at about 3:00 in the afternoon we ordered a large take out order. The deep fried shrimp and chicken was a much darker brown breading than usual and tasted like it was either cooked in oil that hadn't been changed often or had been re-heated or maybe left over. It had an aftertaste and we were not able to finish it. Even our dog wouldn't eat it. The very large order of rice was dry and far from the quality usually served from Sunrise Buffet. My wife has stomach issues today. The rest of us were queasy after eating the meal. All of the food in our order was of much lower quality and freshness than we usually receive from Sunrise Buffet. We have a refrigerator full of food that didn't get eaten that will most likely be fed to our chickens today. This was disappointing that food like this was ever allowed out the door. I really like this place, the sitting area is a tad small but the booth tables move and its quiet and clean.

I enjoy it very much and really like how laid back it is here.

The food selections are a basic buffet however they do offer sushi and crab kegs, now I have not tried the crab legs yet but the sushi IS yummy!

The food is always fresh and delicious! I have not seen the bathrooms yet as I did not use them when there.

The staffs English is a tad under but thats OK they are very polite

I would like to add that take away from The buffet is 6-7$ per pound. I say this because as I was eating I over heard a lady have an argument with the host about being charged for food she could not finish that she had on her plate and wanted to take home.

So even if you played they will still want you to pay to take it home, even if you " couldn't finish " it.

But I think thats typical of a lot of these places.
