Dairy Twirl — Restaurant in Lebanon

Tons of flavors & every imaginable combination you can imagine! We live right down the street from Dairy Twirl, so anytime we want ice cream, we just walk down here. And EVERYONE loves this place, so be prepared for long lines, even when it's not that hot outside! People absolutely LIVE FOR the Dairy Twirl and take advantage of the short season (memorial day to labor day, u think, but they might stay open til Columbus day, I don't remember). I walk my dog past this place every day & there are always people in line, even if it's cold and rainy!!! They have unique flavors as well as staples, and TONS of topping options. The servings are very large -- neither my husband nor I have ever dared to go beyond a SMALL ice cream because the small is like a large at other ice cream shops. I absolutely love their marshmallow topping and I get it on my bowl of ice cream every single time. I have nothing negative to say about this place. They always have great workers that are super super friendly, and I can tell you from experience, being an "ice cream scooper" is not an easy job to stay all smiley and happy all the time, yet I've never seen any of the young people working here be anything but nice, kind, knowledgeable, and FAST! You really have to earn 5 stars I believe. I love ice cream, and if you saw me you'd know. Dairy twirl has the best soft serve hands down. They have super nice staff as well. They always have vanilla chocolate black raspberry(delicious) and coffee. There are 2 additional flavors that are rotated every week. Mint and lemon week was great, also love their coconut week or key lime. Aside from amazing soft serve or "creamies" is the HUGE list of hard ice cream. Everyone has their favorites and every year there's a few new flavors added or switched. Dont forgot about the crazy list of topping and dips, sundae options, custom banana splits, milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, and of course the doggy dish aka pup cup. My dog loves his small dish of vanilla with a milk bone, can't blame him. Now they close in the fall but they go until the ice cream is gone. Only knock is that I wish they were open all year, but thats only because, like I said, I absolutely love ice cream. Actuaĺly writing this made me want to go, support these guys...

Although I've been a patron of Dairy Twirl for 40 years these last 5 years have made this the spot to visit to quench all urges for any form of everybody's favorite summertime treat ! The variety is endless for flavors, sizes and modes of delivery. Portions are generous, prices reasonable and service the most congenial and efficient of any place in the Upper Valley . To put the "cherry" on this package Dairy Twirl has replaced the general store for meeting neighbors and friends and catching up on the "news" of the day. Tables and benches in the shade and an awning covering the waiting customers all aim to make your visit enjoyable !
