This was incredible. My buddy and I had never been karting in our lives, and on a whim I challenged him to a best of 5. We play racing video games all the time (judge me, fine) and figured it was time to see who the better driver really was... neither of us were prepared for how absolutely awesome electric karting is.
Pros: compete with your friends and strangers on a technical track spanning 700ish total feet. Multiple hairpins, 1 significant straight, and 2 sweeping corners. Adult karts are a good speed for the size of the track, I'd estimate 30-35mph on the long straight provided you get a good exit out of the final turn, but probably can go faster as I was a beginner and still trying to learn the track. Race winner's determined by fastest lap, but overtaking is permitted provided you do it safely and without malice. Karts are very safe and can handle mistakes (I won't lie, I hit a few barriers getting used to driving a kart. Sorry! But the kart seemed to handle it just fine, and I did not get hurt in any way, shape, or form.) Racing marshalls were super friendly, and polite. Shoutout to Sadeki (spelling?) for humor and kindness while getting everybody strapped in and ready to go, and the flag marshall who's name I never caught as he was patrolling the track and appropriately blue flagging slower drivers/helping people get unstuck.
Ultimate Pro: They will email you your results including a skill rating, and your overall ranking out of all the drivers who have attempted the course. These results include overall highest skill ratings, as well as weekly fastest laps. I didnt make that list, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be back soon to give it another shot considering how close I came.
Cons: some karts do handle a little better than others, but the staff are super cool about keeping similarly skilled drivers in karts that are competitive with each other. I only raced 1 heat in a kart that felt a little underwhelming, but I was certainly still competitive and at this point I'm splitting hairs to flesh out the review. 1 overly-competitive driver was regularly choosing violence during overtake opportunities, but this is no fault of the track staff. This individual was appropriately reprimanded for aggressive driving and there were no further incidents of poor racing etiquette. To be fair, almost everybody on the track was very reasonable.
Ultimate Con: There really isn't one. The only thing that comes to mind is that I wish the heats were a bit longer, but to be fair without power steering 7 minutes is a good upper body workout for the average person... especially if you do 3+ heats.
Overall: 11/10. I can't wait to come back and see if I can't break a sub 20 second lap. Only missed it by a few tenths, and I know exactly where I lost them. My friends and I will be settling scores here for however long this place stays open. Hopefully forever!

Read moreI went go karting for the first time with my boyfriend and a couple of our buddies. There was 4 of us in total and I was the only one who had never been before. It was Saturday night Jan 13, 2024. I was nervous because my whole crew are seasoned racers. The young man named Leo really went above and beyond to explain the rules and safety to me, and he answered all my dumb questions very helpfully and with kindness. This young man deserves a raise for sure. The whole crew was excellent and was very on top of our safety and making sure we still had fun. But Leo really deserves to be recognized for going above and beyond that night for us. We will be back! Also I saw a review about dirty bathrooms… I will say the bathrooms right by the racing area were in pristine condition. It’s the bathrooms right by the front entrance of the arcade that could use a little help. But once you go to the racing area, everything is clean...
Read moreIt was a fun experience for our family. Better customer service is needed. The first gentleman that checked us in was great. The second guy with glasses that helped us into the gokarts was rude. He pointed at the biggest person in our group and told us not to hit him or make him crash because we may not be able to get his kart to move afterwards. I told him the seat was cutting into my back and he told me its for racing, not luxury. He then told my friend who was watching that we drive slower than his kids. He proceeded to burst the winners bubble by telling her the fastest driver on record had her beat by 5 seconds. Lol I’m convinced a dark grey cloud follows him around. Geesh. Would come back but hopefully it’ll be...
