Me and a few of my friends went here for my birthday to do an escape room that we had already bought tickets ahead of time and when we got there the owner and cop would not let us in. We were being racially profiled by the cop and the cop kept asking us for our IDs for no reason and was only asking me, my friends, and my bf not anybody else walking in. At first it started with pull your pants up and my bf did and he said we still weren’t allowed in and then it turned into IDing us and then none of you are allowed in. The cop was sitting there arguing with me and my boyfriend and would not let us talk and kept talking over us. Mind you me and all my friends were over 18 so we are all adults but the cop told us we weren’t allowed in he actually closed the door on us. We kept asking for a refund and they would not answer us. We had spent over $100 dollars on these tickets and they would not give us a refund. The cop kept arguing with my boyfriend and refusing to let us in for no reason and still no refund. Mind you the owner is standing there letting all of this happen and not saying one word. We were not rude or anything but why only Id us? My boyfriend is black and me and all my friends are Mexican. He didn’t even Id my WHITE friend. After my boyfriend left to the car with my brother, the cop finally let us in but kept trying to Id us because they wouldn’t give us a refund. When we got in I called my boyfriend and he said the cop followed them to the car and was holding his gun. That’s when the cop turned his camera on and so did my boyfriend and asked for his name and badge number and he refused to give it to him. My boyfriend said he was going to get his lawyer and the cop said and I quote “Man you ain’t got no lawyer” and then proceeded to say “Call your lawyer, Call your lawyer” and my boyfriend did. RANT - Came all the way from Winter haven just to be extremely disappointed, specially in the go carts/pricing/ time/ maintenance. We went this past wednesday and paid the $20 per person for “SEVEN” minutes; mind we were the only people in the go cart area the whole time we were there (5-7) so our first round we had to stop 4-5 times durning our time which KEPT COUNTING DOWN as we were stopped or governed to very low speed(and i looked at the timer and looked at the guy and was like the timer is still counting down????. now i get it but for the first round like come on. 7 minutes is nothing for $20. i understand it costs a lot to maintain these carts but on their last and 3rd round my hubbys cart lost most of its power on the last lap.So how good are they really keeping up with them? because it’s not like they have 50 of them to keep up with. plus the track isn’t that big which in my opinion makes it easier to mess up. now after they were done the guy that taught us that i had looked at before did a whole race maybe more i wasn’t really paying attention but it kinda seemed like a slap in the face because bro was trying to beat his personal record for the tv while we all just paid $200 to get up there. plus i spent $20 on the arcade and walked out with next to nothing. There are not alot of regular video games like most of are used too and I hadn't been to an arcade in many years but they have virtual reality games and shooting games and some older ones my husband and I each spend 10 to 20 dollars a peice and about an hr of ply time and we have a good time. They have bowling go carts laser tag hatchet throwing I haven't tried these things yet but the laser tag is only 10 minutes wich i feel it should be longer cuz for 20 to 30 $ for 10 min not enough time for the money and the go crts are 5 to 7 minutes and expensive for about the same price haven't been on one in many yrs so don't remember how long usually would be but it says the price includes membership but it is only cart licensing fee not a come back for so long and have discount or so many rides for the price of membership so I don't agree but if u don't mind the prices ull have fun. They also have pool tables u can rent a table foe 16$ and changes for like 30 min to hr I guess and there are 8 tables but u spend less just putting quarters when u go anywhere else and get more play time it is a good environment and vibe clean place and on weekends late nights mostly adults some teenagers and few children but if ur looking for 1 to 2 hrs of fun and money isn't an object...
