Moonjoy Meadery — Attraction in Lenoir

This place is such a vibe!! I discovered it after thrifting close by. I love everything about it including the shop owner. She was so sweet and friendly. This shop was so dreamy and fairytale like to me. It was my favorite discovery of the day 🥰. I did sample the pomegranate and Gnomeland mead. They were both so good. I bought a bottle to take home so my husband could try also. It was both our first time having mead. Hands down one of my favorite new drinks. This place was such a pleasant surprise! I have only tried mead once a couple months ago. My wife and I are visiting from AZ and were introduced to this place by our good friends who live here in Lenoir. I tried 2 different flights of various meads. Every single one was delicious. I spoke with owner and he explained the process and how they use all local ingredients for their mead. You can definitely tell! I loved it all so much I'm buy a case to take to my son's wedding next week! Great people all around from the owners to the patrons, dog friendly as well. They have a wide range of flavors anywhere from dry to sweet. But, it’s small batch so get them while you can or you might have to wait for your favorite to come back around. The crowd, the few times we’ve been, have not been too rowdy!
