I'm in the process of switching internet providers this internet company was good at first the way it works is the first month your bill will be $12 because my bill was supposed to be $44.99 each month with 100MPS but they give you a $100 rebate and the first month will be around $12. But beware because that is they catch you guess they feel as if they give you the first month really cheap then they feel obligated to stick it to you every other month guess what the second month my bill was $85.87 still how my bill jump this high only after the first month still blows my mind. You should have seen the fees meanwhile I told them I do not need a home phone because I have 2 cell phones but they said it's mandatory and you must have it well guess what they charge hidden fees for the phone and just check out all the hidden fees they charge you on your second month bill.
And on top of all that I ran multiple internet test because my internet was very laggy come to find out I'm getting basically dial-up speed where's my 100MPS I was promised shouldn't this be false advertisement?
And when I called them and told them that my internet speed was nowhere near 100MPS. The lady told me that I must come down there and talk to them before they can send a technician out meanwhile I work 5 days a week from 9am to 6pm everyday. So this lady wants me to take a day off of work and lose money just to come talk to them so I can get there crappy Internet fixed bottom line poorly-managed company with way to many hidden FEES. I would like to start off by saying When the sales rep first came to me, he told me that I would get a $200 Visa gift card for switching internet services, then after I made the switch, he goes onto to say that I would not get the gift card until after I paid my first bill. He did not mention that I needed to pay it on time to be eligible to get the gift card. After the second day of getting my service cut on, it went out I called and I had somebody come in the next day fix it and come to find out the first guy that came to install it, didnāt do the job right and something about the wire wasnāt on properly. Well, I will admit I did pay my first bill late, which made me not eligible for the gift card, but then on top of that they gave me two separate late fees and on top of that, they wanna charge me for a paper bill fee, which was not included in the first bill that they sent me. Also, on top of that when I paid my last bill, it would not let me login into my online account. It just would not let me and it would not let me get a link to reset my password so I had to forcefully pay it through the phone and they ended up charging me another fee for paying it with my card. In conclusion, they keep finding fees to charge me with. So I called Kinetic 2 weeks ago to disconnect bc I sold my house and Iām moving and they said they would send prepaid postage boxes to send back equipment. Well it hasnāt showed and Iām moving in a few days and I called again and now they are saying prepaid postage stuff may take several weeks!!! Well I told them if I donāt get it by the time I move Iāll just throw their equipment in the garbage.
