Lexington Aquatic Park — Attraction in Lexington

Great pool & atmosphere! The lifeguards are polite & actually watch the swimmers.Entry price is perfect & cheap! $2 adults & $1 for 17 & under! They dont have an actually snack bar, but do sell can sodas & chips. I think for $1 & .50 cent. They sometimes sell ice cream. The pool & parking lot is handicap accessible! There is labeled handicap parking right at the door. The entrance from parking to door is flat. There is a handicap seat to lower people in pool. 17 & under have to take a quick swimming test with lifeguard to go past 5ft. which is great!👍 the shallow side is a ramp going down into the water from a inch to 3ft which enters into kiddie side with different water spraying props like a splash pad has. It has a rope to divide the regular pool from shallow/kiddie side. Pool desk & bathrooms are always clean & well stocked. There is showers with changing stalls in the bathrooms. They have lockers. I dont know if they cost to use or not. There is a few tables with umbrellas on 1 side. Around 2 sides of pool there is chairs that will lay flat. The entire pool is fenced in they also have life jackets. No floats are allowed. The only negitive thing I noticed was the rules have changed they NO longer allow young children to wear...

Was perfect for my 3 year old! The kiddie pool was large enough for me to enjoy as well. Kiddie pool is a beach-like walk in that goes up to 3ft at the deep end. It connects to a larger pool that is 4ft to 7ft. The kiddie pool area has 2 different water splash attractions in the pool and 2 different water fountains just outside of the water that spray cold water. $2 per person up to 18 years old and $4 per person over 18. Reasonable price, okay bathrooms. Biggest downside is every hour they make everyone get out of the pool for 10 minutes. They call it shift change for the lifeguards, but I have never been to a pool that needed everyone to get out of the pool for shift change, and for it to take 10 minutes to switch out posts...but I used it as an opportunity to reapply sunscreen and for the first time ever, we didn't get even a little red after a day out in the sun! So I guess kind of a good thing...just annoying for the kiddos because they don't want to stop swimming for 10...

Love the pool, the staff is very friendly and do an awesome job of looking after everyone and keeping the drama out! My only complaint is there is not enough lounge chairs, half the poeole put their stuff in the chairs but yet their not even using them! And your not allowed to move their stuff, lifeguards won't make them. To me that isn't right, not everyone swims the whole time, people like to lay out in the sun is well! So maybe you all could fix that issue! Overall I enjoy it, a nice and cheap place to swim for...
