Food Lion — Local services in Lexington

I was checking out at self check out, and before we got to the self check out their wasn’t an employee checking on anybody before me and my husband got there. KEEP IN MIND THEIR WAS PEOPLE BEFORE US NOT GETTING STARED AT SO HARD. But, as soon as we got to the self checkout an employee came walking so quick and was just staring at us while we checked out. This is my favorite store to go to in Lexington. The employees are so polite and helpful. They usually offer to go to back to check if shelf is empty. The store is always clean an free of clutter. Shelf's are always organized.its very rare for items to be out of stock. The store will order extra if you call in for a large amount example wanting 20 packs of paper towels when on sale.the store is great with coupons and always try to make them work when they do scan or beeps. For those of us who despise the coldness of walmart, the lack of customer service and influx of people, food lion is a dream come true. It's a small grocery, but yet it gives off the vibe of small-town and the homey feeling. I always feel super comfortable in there, and everyone who's at the register is a delight to deal with.
