Ellis Jewelers — Local services in Lexington

My original post was about a bridal set appraisal but I'm editing now because I have been into the store several times since we had a bridal set appraisal done by Ryan on 6/19/2020, and my now-husband has also been in since then. Ryan was very courteous and friendly even though the set didn't come from Ellis, and was able to appraise the set on the same day. The appraisal report is very well done and I feel it is accurate. The flat fee for the appraisal is very reasonable (and indicative of a reputable establishment). Ryan gave a very reasonable price to have them attach the two bands. They have a lot of beautiful jewelry in store! Since then, I took my watch to them when it needed a new battery and they replaced it quickly. A few weeks ago, my husband's wedding band was bent and when he took it in they fixed that without any problems within a couple of minutes. This past weekend we purchased three beautiful pieces from them (a pair of earrings and two bracelets) that I love and my husband is quite pleased with as well. I went into Ellis today with my engagement ring my husband purchased online through an online retailer. The stone was loose & I have been unable to wear it for almost 3 months out of fear I would loose the center stone. While I have no negative comments to say about the online retailer - they were great, however shipping my ring through the mail to just fix the prongs seemed too risky for me. I just couldn't bring myself to send it back through the mail. Crystal quickly worked (same day within just a few minutes) to fix my ring! I was so excited! The ring is a design that is unusual on the side profiles. I have searched for almost 2 years for a wedding band that did not interfere with the stones on the side. Curtis helped consult with me on a custom design. Can't wait to work with them to finalize this set! I would give 10 stars if it were an option! Will be coming back for all our jewelry needs...

I was not sure where to go as I have never bought jewelry since moving to NC from FL almost 6 years ago. This Christmas my AMAZING Mom told me she wanted a mother's ring with her 3 children's stone. I took to Google and stumbled across Ellis Jeweler's. I sent an email which was followed up with a phone call from Stacy. She worked with me over the phone and "designed" a ring.
