We have only visited one time to see An R Rated Magic Show but the theater was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There are multiple lots nearby the theater to park in but once those get full, it seems you will need to find street parking. There were a lot of people in attendance on the night of our visit so this resulted in a large line for the women's facilities as they only have two toilets so be prepared for that. The only other thing we could say could have been improved on this night was the fact that they advertised popcorn but weren't selling any. Everyone was complaining about no popcorn 🍿

The Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center is a superb venue and our first time there. We watched a string quartet play The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, presented by Fever. I wished they had produced programs with show notes and bios of the string quartet. We enjoyed ourselves and the venue was just the right size.

It is hard to find a good plan for Mondays, after a long day of work. Going home is what most of Lexingtonians do...If you want to start the week brilliantly, just try this one. A live radio program with excellent Bluegrass music every week! Wow, just try it out!

We pre booked tickets for a valentines show last night. It was a string quartet playing Taylor Swift - my wife really wanted to see it. So we arrive 15 minutes early. Wait in line then get in right at showtime. Buy a drink and make our way to the seats. 30 minutes pass and nothing. Then a guy comes on stage and says due to unforeseen circumstances the band couldn’t make it and show is canceled. So everyone leaves.

They emailed a voucher. I would like a refund. It will be a long long time before I consider going back to the lyric and will not recommend it. Unprofessional. I wouldn’t be as upset had they not wasted an hour of our evening. I feel like they already knew the band wasn’t going to show they just wanted to get peoples money from...

Booked tickets for the candlelight valentine day show only to find out after an hour of sitting there that the band wasn’t even in the building. Like you didn’t know the band wasn’t there. come on, you could have cancelled the show before making everyone wait on Valentine’s Day. Very poor management. On top of that even though we were promised to get refunds, this has been an incredibly difficult process and I will probably have to file a complaint with Visa for us to get anything back at all. We paid almost $100 for our tickets. Extremely disappointed at how the situation was handled, would not recommend this place to anyone.

If anyone from Lyric Theater is reading this please let me know how to get my money back that was essentially...

I’m not one to leave a bad review, truly. But unfortunately, my experience was not great. Now, the staff is completely fine, and I have nothing negative to say about them. However, we made plans for the Valentine day concert this year, took off work early, drove two hours, arrived early, sat in the room for over an hour, for them to announce right at 7:00 pm that the concert was not happening. I do understand that things happen (and I hope with whatever happened that everyone is safe and healthy), but it truly feels like they only kept it open to sell concessions. By the time they let us know it was not happening we couldn’t salvage our night. I love the idea of this, but the experience was super...
