As a parent, I would certainly NOT recommend Transy to another family or their young adult.
My daughter attended Transy and we experienced numerous issues. First, after living in the dorm a few weeks, noticed security problems. Anyone could walk in off the streets (it happened) and have access to the floor. The first floor had water problems and flooded twice while there.
Second, as a freshman you get the last pick of classes/instructors and that is also a major concern. Worst classes and worst instructors... good first impression! Lastly, housing wouldn't take action when her roommate was a partier and she wanted out. It was like pulling teeth to get any action from residence life.
She transferred out and surprise, surprise... most of the Transy classes would not be accepted at other accredited colleges! That's a serious red flag when you're paying for a "high end" education. The campus was VERY CLEAN, The tour guide and The Campus Visitor Coordinator was very informative and friendly. It's a small & intimate University. My daughter and my friend were both impressed, and my daughter said she can see Transy as an option! Thanks again...
