The park is beautiful and they have a lot of Pokestops, which is what attracted my family and me to the park in the first place. They have a playground for children and beautiful fountains, as well as amazing statues. The problem is that it's not safe at all. I had a teenager try to zap me with a stun gun back in the fall. I didn't know him, as I live about 50 miles away, but he walked up behind me really quickly and I thankfully heard the stun gun before he pressed it against my body, so I got away without being shocked. The police came and didn't do anything to this young man. The police said that the judicial system won't punish minors and all they'll do is call their parents to come get them, so the kids know they can get away with anything. The police also said that a group of kids robbed another kid of his cell phone the weekend before this happened to me and nobody was charged with any crime then. We returned to this park over the weekend and found really shady adults hanging out on the playground instead of children. We immediately left and will not return. If you go to this park, be constantly aware of your surroundings, alert, and vigilant. There also were no restrooms, which is a negative for me. Bottom line: this park is dangerous because delinquent youth preys on...

While I enjoy the beautiful trees, I wish there was an informative tree label for easier determination of whether the nuts and all from it are safe or poisonous to dogs including my little medical service dog (@MaizyShiba).
There is some parking there on the street; however, I don’t remember seeing a single disabled spot not ramp. It is just one step up onto the curb and a very short walk, but some disabled need a ramp for their walkers or wheelchairs and parents for their strollers.
The huge Christmas wreath was a nice touch on the...
Read moreThe statues and fountain were neat to see. The problem we encountered while there was a family swimming in the fountain. They had their dog tied around one of the lights and all it did was bark while a little boy splashed everything. Then a lady that is with said boy gets in the water wearing only her bra and puts a kitten in to swim. All this is taking place under the do not swim sign. Then at the other end, there was a couple dry humping at the mini horse statue. The whole visit was a great family experience. There is a cool park right across the street we retreated to and spend about...
