Updating my review with text and pictures! When I gave my review, it was for the store itself. But now that I've been here for a while playing Battletech, Warhammer, and everything in between, I can say that this place is pretty great.
It's a bit old, it's a bit run down - that's the shape of the shopping center itself, but they've taken what they have and worked with it. There's a good selection of board games up front, a Games Workshop section, a D&D section, and then a section where they've got other assorted tabletop games such as Battletech, Star Wars Legion, Team Yankee, and more.
Further back there's multiple large tables for gaming with basic stools, and enough terrain to fill them. There are also tables with standard seating, and a large board game library as well as trays for if you'd rather bring your painting supplies to work on your models.
I've not delved further into the back, but from my understanding there is space there for a TTRPG group or two to meet for sessions in person, as well as storage space for those who frequent the store.

Read moreGauntlet Games is one of the few real Tabletop gaming stores left in Lincoln. They have a wide variety of board games, many that are award winning European games, as well as minitures and figurines for games such as , Warhammer 40K, Blood Bowl, Bones and Malefeux.
There are a few tables for gaming, Saturday night can get very busy, and not alot the space is available in the late afternoon. Plan accordingly if you want your game group to meet here.
I enjoy the wide variety of board games you can try out in the store as well. There is usually a Zombicide game going or a other box game you can get into.
