I was given tickets to a show on Thursday December 31st 2015 and I called to see if we can reschedule because we are going to be out of town. I spoke with a gentleman and he advised he would look into it. He came back to the phone and advised they were purchased through ticketmaster and I had to contact them for the change. I contacted Ticketmaster via the phone number provided to me bu the Marriott Theater rep. The ticketmaster rep was most helpful and advises s she had to send a letter to the theater. When I spoke with the theater they made no mention of this when it should have been if that's there process he would have known that. Ticketmaster advised to follow up with the theater and I did so and I spoke with a rep again who on the phone sounded very confused and spoke with her supervisor Barb. I then asked to speak to Barb to explain the 3 different explanations I was given. She advised they aren't doing exchanges on NYE and that I spoke with a supervisor the fist time. So now I'm thinking why didn't the supervisor I spoke with the first time tell me that rather than give me the run around and have me do all these things if nothing could be done. I would have been OK with him advising that to begin with but he lead me to believe they could be and I wasted time making phone calls and having ticketmaster fill out a form that was unnecessary. When I spoke with Barb she was so rude and raised her voice. I don't know what kind of management raises there voice to customers but it was unprofessional. They whole situation was handled unprofessional. I will never step foot into that place and I will make sure that I share my experience with everyone I know. I many people who attend shows at the theater that will not continue after hearing about this awful experience. Management and Supervisors at MT- Lincolnshire need a lesson on customer service. By far the worst service and not because the tickets couldn't be exchanged I would have understood and been OK if I was told that to begin with but because of the lack of professionalism and...
Read moreMy recent visit to this theater was a DISASTER. The disorganization and poor customer service I experienced was unacceptable. It started with no parking and no Valet attendant in sight. I went to will call to pick up my ticket left there in an envelop with my name written on it. handed to an employee. I was told it is not here. The Staff seemed indifferent and confused, offering NO solutions. As I'm dealing with this the valet attendant suddenly appeared and rudely demanded that I move my car threatening to tow my car if I didn't comply immediately His tone was hostile, making an already stressful situation worse. When I pushed back he used foul language. Every single person I interacted with at the theater was Dismissive ,rude and quick to place blame on me. The customer. Their lack of professionalism. was shocking. Adding to the frustration. Six friends from Ohio had driven to attend this event with me. I arrived 30 min late due to work. They waited inside wondering why I never arrived. Rather than helping to resolve the issue, the staff continuously argued with me about the missing ticket. as though it was my fault. It was humiliating and frustrating and the constant Back-and-forth not only ruined my experience but also spoiled the evening for my friends, who had traveled such a long way for this event. It was a stressful and infuriating experience that left me and my friends incredibly upset. I recommend anyone considering this venue to...
Read moreThe Marriott theater is a small intimate but amazing little theater with 360 degree views of the stage. Set in the back of the hotel it has ample parking and is easy to get to by road. It has all the amenities of the big theaters down town with the added bonus of an on-site restaurant with friendly helpful staff and a very sweet gentleman on the concessions stand. The Marriott does some of the bigger musicals along with smaller productions and has an area where you can meet with the stars of the show following each production. I love the fact the stage is in the center with seating all around the stage whilst the aisles on each corner are used by the actors as part of the show allowing you to be up close to them making you feel like your part of the action. They also do subscriptions yearly with added benefits such as cheaper hotel rooms discounts at the restaurant and access to the extensive golf course making them great value for money. My son and I just saw a Christmas story there several times and the acting was as good as the big broadway shows we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and I would highly recommend the Marriott to any...
