Ordered food for office lunch from website menu and paid in advance. No deserts are listed on website but saw Tiramisu when picking up food. I asked if it could be added to the order and was told if I wanted it would have to be a new order. I chose not to but was surprised that for an over $200 order a $5 tiramisu could not be given. Strike 1. When opening the food the salad I requested no onions had raw onions on it (and noticed extra charge). Called back to ask about it, person did not understand so I figured I would just try again and order another salad and 2 tiramisu. When I went to get that we realized it was a misunderstanding on the phone order "no" instead of 'raw'. The woman explained that all ingredients are listed so if it is not there it will not come with it. Most places if there is a misunderstanding accept responsibility, she made it seem like it was my fault. Strike 2. Then when I looked in my bag there was only 1 tiramisu. I asked for the receipt which was not given to me, they printed it and I was charged for 2. I told 2 people there was only 1 tiramisu in my bag, at that point neither were friendly and the woman asked me "well how many were on your receipt" I showed her 2. I was reluctantly given another. Strike 3. I am all for supporting small businesses especially in these times, but when I walk into a place and the customer is wrong 3 times, that is not a place I could consider supporting. The tone with food returns as printed on the website is exactly what I experienced in person, unless you like confrontation I would stay far...
Read moreDined here for dinner with a friend. Entrance is confusing and there is no proper waiting area. Was seated in the back by the bathrooms and next to the entrance. People coming into the restaurant were constantly waiting to be seated in the middle of the dining space.
We ordered the Beef Medallion and Pasta with Vodka sauce entrees. Each came with a salad. Server did not mention the $2 up charge to sub a (measly) Caesar salad. Entrees came hot however the beef entree was swimming in sauce. The bread served with it immediately soaked up the brown sauce and turned brown and mushy. Yuck. Otherwise the beef tasted good.
We waited 45 minutes after receiving our entree before we flagged someone down to clear the dishes and order dessert. Server brought one dessert menu for two people. We ordered a cannoli and profiteroles. The cannoli came out first. The owner was rude when we advised we were still waiting on the second dessert.
We had to flag someone down again for the check. We requested separate checks which they would not accommodate. Wound up splitting the check only to be charged for someone else’s meal that was way more than ours! Owner once again was rude and unaccommodating. At least part of the meal should have been comped for the unnecessary rude service and check hassle but nothing was taken care of.

Read moreOwners are super authentic and attentive. Brought my 18mo old to meet up with some friends and had a great time along with some solid food. Prices seemed a bit high for pasta and pizza but the food was solid. I assume we’re blaming inflation. The ingredients are fresh and cooked well. I’d say a very safe option for some quick Italian food. Pizza is thin slice- comes crispy and the crust has some chew to it so you kinda get both sides in one pizza.
I had the vodka pasta, bonta di terra, buffalo margherita. The buffalo mozzarella is imported so it was good but the sauce came out a tad watery - it still tasted great - enjoyable The bonta di terra is not a red sauce pizza but the prosciutto arugula and parm reggiano combo is very nice. Olive oil is a staple at this restaurant.
I also got tiramisu and pistachio cannoli with an iced americano that they make in house. I’m not Italian but I felt like I was in Italy. The cannoli was dense and light at the same time. The tiramisu was good- I tasted the alcohol which I think is some liqueur which I feel you don’t typically get. Went great with the coffee.
I’d come back to support the owners here. Very hospitable and the food...
