Darden Harvest Park — Attraction in Lindale

Very nice park with restrooms, play ground, splash pad, picnic tables, pavilion, dog park, pond and a nice lighted concrete walking trail.

The disc golf course is the reason I’m giving it only 3 stars. The disc golf course is a horrible design. Poor layout with fairways that are way too tight and overlapping other holes. Fairways are not maintained at all. Vegetation is starting to grow up. The signs are informative but minimal. The only nice thing about this course are the teepads and the baskets. Hole 1 tee-pad and basket has been moved and has not been updated on UDisc. Tee for hole 1 is by playground area now. Great all around park. The splash pad and playground are close enough that the kids can run back and forth. There are also great paths for walking and a huge parking lot. The grounds are partially shaded throughout the day, the restrooms are always clean as well as air-conditioned. This is a great new park that the city has put together with a dog park coming soon. There's a tranquil pond with a fountain and some nice new trails to walk through the woods and bridges over the water. It is also right next to the pink pistol in The Cannery so you could do a nice stroll before or after a date at one of those two locations. Great job...
