Lindale Eagles Stadium — Attraction in Lindale

I took my daughter to watch the JV game on a Thursday. I have not been to a Friday Varsity game. I have been told they have very different routines. At the JV game there was no band, and the halftime cheerleading was lacking. All of the concession food was precooked, wrapped and cold. The area for home concessions is under the bleachers, poorly lit and prone to dangerous behavior by attending children and teens. I personally saw two teenage drug deals in the top rows of the bleachers while at the game. To the officers dismay, parents were allowing their children to run wild. He was trying to keep teens from getting busy in dark corners, keep young children from climbing the underside of the bleachers, as well as watch out for criminal activity. When the officer got onto the children, they were rude and disrespectful to him. This poor officer should get double pay for what he had to deal with. It was so bad that I would not let my daughter go to the bathroom by herself! Shame on the children, but mostly SHAME on the purposefully oblivious PARENT!! I would suggest the school assign more officers, make the children attend games with parents, and enforce the children stay with...

We had group of 9. To not be facing sun watching rodeo we sat on opposite side of arena. Needless to say ALL food was on completely opposite side. About 1/3 of top bleachers were condemned, heard not safe. There was orange plastic netting full lenght where you're not supposed to go, did that stop stupid people no they went one row above and sat on the plastic. A lady told them that area was condemned for safety issues. They didn't move, shortly after cop showed up told them weren't supposed to be there but gave in and said just don't go one row higher. Bleachers were very dirty with food and drink caked on from previous 2 nights of rodeo. They really need to turn hose on them. Amazing! The new addition is impressive. I love the high standard that Texas has for its high school football teams. The new addition really brings out that "Friday night lights" feel to every game. It's worth checking out!
