I decided to try this new salon because of all of the great reviews. I have a regular nail tech, but sheâs been super busy and I havenât been able to book. After going to another new salon in town and receiving âmehâ nails with zero customer service or attention to detail, I honestly expected the same here. Iâve tried every salon in town and what you get is bloody fingers, no communication, thick and very fake looking nails and a quick and careless process. Iâve tolerated these for 3 weeks and couldnât wait to get them fixed. This morning, I walked into Lindale Nails and Spa at 9:00 and was greeted with the sweetest welcome from Ivy and Kenny. They listened to what I wanted, spent the time and Kenny did a beautiful and detailed job for me. He made conversation the entire time and was genuinely just a happy guy. He checked in with me throughout the process to make sure I liked what he was doing. I left there extremely satisfied with beautiful and not thick nails and assured them that Iâd spread the good newsâŠthat Lindale finally has a walk-in nail salon that is all around awesome!! They even made these roofer hands look feminine!! Michelle and Ivy are the owners and theyâve come from another salon locally where the treatment is terribleâŠso their goal is to make sure itâs done right! Well done gals, and Kenny! I canât wait until I need a pedicure so that I can try that as well. Please give them a chance, theyâre different...
Read moreToday my teen daughter decided to, suddenly, last minute say, âwe should go get our nails doneâ and thatâs exactly what we done. We went as a walkin; no appointment and they got right to us. She got Kenny for her acrylics and design and I got Lenna for a gel manicure. Both of them were so amazing. Today, Kenny impressed both her and I with his attitude and professionalism! He treated her like a customer that matters and not like a kid just in to get her nails done. He took the time to make sure she was happy with the length, shape, color, and design! This set of nails are the best she has ever received.
As for me, well, I like to bite my nails and was apprehensive about getting a manicure because they are SO short right now. I had a feeling polish was going to be all over my finger tips. Nope, Lenna took the time to shape them (letâs face it, shaping them ainât a thing when youâre a nail biter) and get them all looking as evenly as possible and added the gel polish as requested from a photo image I showed her. She was so sweet and the entire manicure was so relaxing and enjoyable!
When we left, I texted the names to myself so I can make sure to book with those 2 again in the future. Below is a picture of the gel manicure received today. Iâll add my daughterâs acrylic set from today as soon as I get a...
Read morePricing didnât make any sense. I came in with an old gel manicure, wanting to get a dip manicure. Normally if you pay for a new service they will take off your old manicure, included in the price. They charged me $5 to take the gel off and then $45 for the dip manicure. The owner told me if I would have chosen a gel manicure they wouldnât charge to take the gel off. But if you take off something different then you choose to put on they charge you. So if I would have chosen to get gel then they wouldnât have charged me the $5 to take the old gel off. whether itâs dip or gel they have to take the old one off, and Iâm paying for a full service but they charged me the extra $5 after I paid for a pedicure and full dip manicure. This is the kind of stuff that drives my business away. Itâs $5 yes, not a lot in the scope of life. But I donât appreciate a business sucking money from me for every small thing they can.
I usually like this place, the owner is really sweet. But I was super bummed in this logic, I donât like to be taken advantage of and my manicure and pedicure didnât match even though it was supposed to be the same color. Two completely different...
