Even after a fitting and detailed discussion, the tailor took way too much off of my brand new dress I bought for my brother's wedding, resulting in an inappropriately short dress for a wedding. When I came in to pick it up, she quickly started ringing me up and I asked, "shouldn't I try it on first?" So, I did... when I explained to her that this length of dress isn't what we discussed and wouldn't work for me, she became extremely defensive which 10 minutes later turned into her:
shaking her yard stick at me, demanding that I come to her NOW to fix the dress
Unbelievable. I have never been treated like that in my life. I must have asked twelve times if she still had my extra fabric that was cut off and she:
repeatedly refused to answer my question while beginning to sweat and yell because she was so angry
Two phone calls later, after this debacle, she said she would refund me for the dress and give me back the extra material that she eventually revealed she had found, then said she threw it away... then said she had found it again... (???!!!!?????) This was five months ago and I have never received a refund for the dress ($65) or the remaining material.

Would do business with her over and over and over again. Finally, my husband also got his wedding suit tailored by her. This was not how I dropped it off - now I will have to steam it - she bagged it (the bag fell off 5 ft into the parking lot) and she charged me 55.00 for a hem and a bunch of wrinkles - I literally had to rebag and rehang the dress before I could even drive home - slap dash and careless - it was not a cheap dress to be treated that way.and that was a lot of money for having to...
