The Lititz Ghost Tour is a great way to learn about this amazing town. Our guide Kevin was not only personable; he listened to what we were interested in, and took time to expand on topics we asked about.

We had a hearing disabled person and someone with minor mobility issues on the tour, and he was very accommodating, careful to be sure they had the same great experience as the rest of us. He also offered the whole group opportunities to sit or be in the shade. Very thoughtful.

While there were some cool ghost stories to be shared, the tour was also an eye-opening introduction to the formation of this town as a Moravian community. I grew up in Lancaster County and had no clue that Lititz had such a rich and unique history. From local architecture to commerce to religious beliefs, I learned things I’d never known before.

The tour ended at the Moravian church campus, where the church and its associated buildings (including the corpse house!) told more of the history of the faith and the town. We had a special treat when the sacristan, who happened to be there, generously opened the church for us to have an inside tour.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and highly recommend it for both...

My husband surprised me by buying me a ghost tour in the town of Litiz while my mom and I were visiting Lancaster county. So we made the 1/2 hour drive out there. It was a lovely town and I really enjoyed the tour. Walking back the same direction we started on my own was a little unsettling thinking of all the ghosts we had just learned about. But I cannot wait to visit again! Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Also, this was the first ghost tour I've ever done during the day. I loved learning about all the ghosts and...

We visited during the annual candlelight tour event - and what a well-run event it was, with tour guides stationed in each room of the Mueller house, each offering a wealth of knowledge. We were especially impressed with how well they put the information into context for the time, so we could get a sense for what life was like for people living years and years ago. This was one of the best tours that I’ve ever experienced! We took one tour of the Joan Moeller house and another of the ghost stories of the town. Both tour guides were top shelf, full of facts and the little stories that make it all personal and interesting. They were so knowledgeable and being in costume, you had the feeling that they really had been there while the more avians were established in this community.

Lovely free museum featuring the history of the charming town of Lititz. Optional 45 minute guided tour of 18th century house next door by a costumed docent for a small feet. Very interesting! Beautiful garden between the two houses with working koi pond, open to public. So relaxing - a quiet oasis. Neat gift shop in the main museum filled with items with a local or historical theme. Don't miss it!
