Wonderful craftsmanship, trustworthy, and honest! I've had a 1950's Hamilton watch that belonged to my grandfather for over fifteen years. When i originally obtained the watch after his passing, it was not in working order. Although born and raised in Lititz, I've been living in Philadelphia for 12+ years. I finally decided to get the watch in working order about two years ago. Took it to it a jeweler here in Philadelphia along the famous Jewelers Row from the recommendation of a friend. Spent $250 for a "complete overhaul". When I picked up the watch a few weeks later, it seemed to be working OK. As it has such sentimental value, it is hardly worn. Two months after service, it stopped working. Called the jeweler, and they were of no help and stated they would need to charge more money to re-service. Decided to come back to Lititz specifically to have my watch serviced here. Hamilton was originally manufactured in the heart of Lancaster, PA, and I've always heard good things about Lititz Watch & Jewelry. I can tell you I would never take this watch anywhere else from here on out. Customer service was friendly, they understood the sentimental value, and took the time to make sure it was fixed PROPERLY. Although it took slightly longer than anticipated, I'd rather have them keep the watch longer and know it's been serviced properly when I pick it up. The reason it took slightly longer than expected is that it wasn't keeping perfect time (and they explained this on the telephone). They literally put so much care and attention into making sure my watch was working 100%. They even gave me a 1-year warranty. I HIGHLY recommend Lititz Watch & Repair to anyone in need of quality craftsmanship with great customer service at ...
Read moreWent there with a friend of mine and elder. This individual had bought a grandfather clock at a flea market. The clock worked all but the hands according to my buddy. So he was upset and wanted to inquire or find a facility that repaired clocks. I googled clock repairs nearby and this facility showed up. So we decided to take a weekend Saturday trip. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. They checked out my buddy clock and noticed that the battery was put in backwards and was dead completely. Well needless to say they got it working. Lol and the sales lady sold me and my buddy beautiful well designed sports watches. Definitely recommend this facility and local business. Great selection of clocks and men and womens...
Read moreGreat business with a cute store! I'm so thrilled to have found them! The gentleman there (I believe the owner) put new batteries in 2 of my Movado watches for less than the shipping alone would have cost to send 1 out for the same job. It's been a real struggle to find a place that will touch Movado's, for less than $175 anyway, locally. I used to go all the way to King of Prussia or Atlantic city to the Movado stores before they closed. I'm so happy to have found a place that does a wonderful job right in my own town! It's rare to come across people who won't rip you off when they can in this day in age. I will never consider going anywhere else for my watches again....
