This is my home course, no more. I generally play later in the day as I have my 10 year old playing with me. The course gets backed up and quickly. I watched as the 4:40 tee time showed up at 4:37. I was not able to tee off closer to 5. By hole 3, I was waiting. I ended up leaving the course after hole 7 as we had been playing for 2 plus hrs. Tee boxes were sand, greens had not been cut(I could see that they have been treated). However, everytime I go in the afternoon I am waiting. For example, on hole 5, there were 3 groups waiting. The group in front of me drove to the ladies Tee’s to hit, I was waiting and the group behind showed up. I get it that there are ppl that are slow however, this happens every time. No more. I’ve played this course(9) on random weekdays and finished in 1 hr 15 mins. I also noticed that they are going up on price starting April 1st, resulting in me not wanting to show up anymore. I’ve played this course for the last 4 years, but, I’ve feared I’ve played my last. I will drive 20-30 mins to play another course just not to be slowed down. Literally 50 mins to play 2 holes. I’ve never played earlier on the weekends(maybe it’s quicker) but if you plan on playing after 1 pm, pack your patience. Redbridge has gone downhill the last year but continues to raise prices. The only money they will see from me in the future is on the range. It’s a shame because the course is challenging and I know it so well. ...
Read moreThis was the second time I’ve played here and it has been unorganized both times. They cannot seem to get their tee time pairings correct. We were paired with a random person while we were having a small tournament amongst ourselves. No fault to the extra player but it was rude for him to have to unload his clubs and put them on another cart. The people that check you in take forever at the first home, they don’t know what they are doing. On top of that don’t bring a cooler in there....if you do it’s basically the same experience as if you got pulled over by the police. We had a cooler that had water and Gatorade but we were not allowed to take it in. Then on top of this the water coolers they have setup around the course either had no water or no cups. With it being in 90 degrees or more you’d think that if they took your cooler away they’d atleast have the water coolers filled up, im surprised someone hasn’t passed out from dehydration. This is most likely a ploy so customers will spend $3 for Gatorade that actually only sales for $1.50 at most gas stations. Also the tee boxes are in terrible shape, several of them is basically teeing up in water or crab grass..the fairways are the only highlight...

Pace of play was awful! We waited every single shot, literally. Our group of 3 players teed off right at 8:12am and we didn't walk off of the 18th green until 1:15pm
5 + hours is unacceptable, even in tournament play. The Marshal was out and about which made it even worse. At one point he road by and casually mentioned that the course was "crowded" today.
On a few of the par 5's I would count 4 groups on the same hole. I would strongly recommend that Red Bridge add another 10 minutes of space between groups. OR enforce an acceptable pace of play NO MORE than 4.5 hours per round.
That doesn't seem like too much to ask after...
