Inspire Coffee — Restaurant in Lodi

Inspire Coffee in Downtown Lodi, California is an extremely friendly local coffee shop with super delicious coffee, coffee drinks, specialty drinks, chais, sugar free chai, hot chocolate, teas and snacks. They also offer some merchandise including coffee mugs, packaged coffee for you to make at home, and more.

This shop has such a chill vibe it is hard to describe. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted in an extremely friendly and sincere manner. Totally genuine and laid back attitude which makes you instantly feel at home and relaxed.

Their “Pour Over” coffee, offered in 12 oz. or 16 oz. sizes, is available in light, medium or dark roasts. If you like bold, rich and electrifying, go for the dark!

The whole place from the music to the decor is comfortable. They have taller tables and taller stools to sit at. There’s a long wooden table with chairs. Also two sections with comfy leather chairs and convenient tables and/or shelf’s for your drinks.

Inspire’s downtown location is sweet with plenty of parking up and down the street. Many and varied shops and businesses are just a few steps away. This is also a good stop to begin if you’d like to walk around the blocks that make up Lodi’s interesting and fun downtown.

Some folks come in and hang out working on their computers (outlets are available) or quietly using their smart phones. Others, including local business people, come in and pick up their beverages or take a quick break.

Overall, Inspire Coffee is a superior shop that I will visit...

We first discovered Inspire Coffee while visiting family in Lodi, CA this past May. When we arrived early in the morning, my husband’s aunt and uncle already had fresh coffee waiting for us — and they’d made cold brew just for me since I mentioned I preferred iced coffee. It was delicious. They told me Inspire is their weekly go-to spot to refill their growler of cold brew (such a cool system — nothing like that where I live in Idaho!).

A few weeks later, I called the shop because I couldn’t stop thinking about that coffee. Even though I don’t live in California, the sweetest young woman helped me pick out which beans to order online and even walked me through their cold brew recipe over the phone. She didn’t rush, just genuinely cared about helping me recreate it at home.

Fast forward to my order arriving — not only did it ship quickly, but the packaging blew me away. They had handwritten brewing instructions (censored it for this review so I’m not posting their proprietary info all over the internet 😅) and included thoughtful notes that showed they remembered my call. It was way above and beyond what I expected, and months later I’m still impressed by that level of personal attention.

If you’re in Lodi, definitely stop in for a growler refill. If you’re out of town like me, their beans ship beautifully and taste just as amazing at home. Inspire Coffee has earned a loyal customer...

Couldn’t have been a better atmosphere. I went in today, October 5th with my friend and my 1 year old. I was super nervous to bring him in because he runs around and can get loud. The staff was Aamazing!!! And we’re so kind about my son accidentally making a mess and running around. They offered to clean up, and said not to worry. Other people in the coffee shop were sweet to, waving to my son, saying hi and engaging. As a mom it can be exhausting to go out and try to make it work with a kid.
