Solid Thai restaurant, really hopping on a Friday evening! Partner and I were seated immediately before 6pm but there was a 30 min wait because of their backlog of to go orders. Choose a less busy time if you have a party over 4 people, there aren’t many tables available.

We ordered red Thai curry with pork small side of rice pho noodles with beef.

The small rice was $2 and a great portion! The curry was good, but it didn’t taste special and I didn’t like the giant zucchini chunks lol. The pho was surprisingly decent, especially after poor experiences with several Elk Grove Vietnamese places! Didn’t even know pho was a Thai thing too?

Mango sticky rice for dessert. This was my first time trying it and I thought it was plenty to share and tasty! I’m a sucker for heart shaped molds lol. It’s coated in this nice syrup/glaze that tastes like coconut. It wasn’t overly sweet! I think more of the syrup on the plate as an option would be best.

Check my pictures for 2024 updated menu prices! It’s not super cheap but everything seemed pretty reasonable. I may return again. 4 stars is because nothing tasted that impressive, it was just good. I like Thai spice better, but that was from one try like a year ago, so I’ll have to check it out again for fair comparison.

They also have signs everywhere about an extra 3.9% charge for credit cards, so bring cash! We enjoyed the...

My friend and I were meeting here. She was there with her daughter eating when I got there and I came in after. I had gone to get my nephew and two of my kids fast food as I knew they wouldn't want to eat at the restaurant but my oldest son and I were going to eat at their establishment. I didn't want to be rude so I went inside to first ask if it was ok that my kids ate their lunches while we ate there. The girl first told me yes IF we could all fit in a table made for 4 people. Mind you, my friend was already eating with her daughter and there was an additional five of us coming. She told me that if we couldn't fit in one table that we couldn't eat there. She lost 2 paying customers (3 kids that wouldn't have ordered anyhow if we'd gone without fast food). Althought she wasn't rude when she told me and although I told her I would just keep my kids in the car to eat their food while my friend finished her food, I was upset but didn't want to be rude either. My son was annoyed that he wasn't able to eat. I would never go back to that place. Her excuse was that it was "lunch hour" and that people were coming in to eat. ...well wth did she think I was there to do??? I TOLD her my son and I would be eating but she assumed it was only one child with outside food. When I told her it was 3 that's when she told me if we could all fit in that one table :/. That would have not...

The BBQ Pork with Rice lunch dish that I had is deserving of 5 stars. The flavor was amazing! The salad that came with it was fresh with an extremely tasty dressing.

I ordered Thai Ice Coffee too. It was also delicious and served in a pint glass!

I dined in and though Thai Kitchen has an interesting space, it is a bit rough around the edges. That is why I reduced their rating to 4 stars. 5 plus for the food I enjoyed and less than 4 due to wear and tear.

The staff I encountered were nice. My food order was served quickly-but by no means rushed.

Quite a few folks came in to pick up their to go orders.

For the wonderful flavor of the food I had and the large portion, it was an incredible value. My lunch plus drink was $10 and change. Amazing!

Eat here. It is truly delicious. If rough around the edges appearance bothers you, just get take out.

Me? I’m good either way. Hoping I can return and try...

This place is legit!! All the waitresses were very nice and even let us split our check even though we were a large group. They filled our water glasses very often. WARNING: The spice levels are no joke. People at our table ordered the 2nd hottest spice level and felt it was extremely hot. The egg rolls were excellent. The pho was also VERY tasty. The broth had a great flavor. I would highly recommend this place if you want real Thai food and delicious pho.
