Today I was introduced to Bayshore Beach, a calm inlet near Naples Island in Long Beach. No waves, perfect for kayaking and paddle-boarding. There’s a little beachside cafe - Grill ‘Em All (lol), and a rental spot for those kayaks and paddle boards. Lifeguard station just nearby. Park on the street, or there is a lot one block over.

This is my "go to" swim beach for training. There is plenty of parking (although it may not seem like it at first). The water heats up nicely in the summer so no wetsuit is needed. The water is not stagnant, but...

We come here for the dog park and playing flag football on the beach. There are plenty of parking spaces and friendly people. Make sure to bring some toilet paper/tissue because the bathrooms usually are...
