It is now 2024 and the swings are gone and the yellow tower has one section that broke and is now zip tied to the structures with a lot of zip ties. It has been zip tied for months and is still being continuously used by the public. I was there over Fourth of July and the blue tower was fenced off. The yellow tower was still open.
I love this playground. Climbing the yellow rope tower is a little scary, but fun. The swings are big round saucer swings. I love to watch the seagulls flying around from up high. The blue tower is safer than the yellow tower. The slides are fast, unless I slow myself down with my feet. I have played on both structures, but I like the yellow one better. I ride my scooter here, so I have to remember to take my helmet off before I start climbing. Their is a cement bench near the bike path for taking breaks. I come here with my mom and our two dogs. I am twenty years old and I am planning on never stopping having fun on playgrounds as long as I am not injured. I have seen adults and teenagers climbing also...
