We have been to Rock City several times but it has been a few years since we last visited. It’s a pretty place but today we were driving home from Tennessee to Georgia and went by Rock City for the sole purpose of buying a birdhouse for my front flower garden. There were 3 other vehicles in the parking lot so it was definitely not crowded. When we (my wife and I) approached the store and explained we simply wanted to buy a birdhouse, we could get ONE shopper’s pass but the other couldn’t come in. Seriously? My wife was okay with it but I was having no part of it. I wanted US to look at the birdhouses together and decide. So…..we left. I’ve looked at them online to buy but I can assure you we will NOT be buying one online or returning to the attraction. I’m not sure what genius decided such a policy was a good idea but they just lost a sale and any future business from me and my very large family. A total of 25 in the family so far.

My partner and I had a beautiful date at Rock City, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views that stretch for miles and a magical atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. Every path led to something new and exciting, from the towering rock formations to the charming gardens and winding trails. The famous Lover’s Leap was a highlight, offering one of the most incredible views we’ve ever seen. Walking through the Fairyland Caverns and seeing all the unique formations added to the sense of wonder. There’s so much to see and take in at Rock City, making it perfect for a romantic day out. Whether you’re admiring the views, exploring the caves, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it’s an unforgettable experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our date and will definitely be returning.

I’ve been to Rock City Gardens twice now. The first time was during the day and it was so beautiful!! I immediately fell in love with this place. But this time I went at night and it was just MAGICAL! The whole place was lit up and has soft music playing (as it does during the day ) as you explore the trails. I hope they keep this night option available because it was definitely my favorite!! My sisters and I played some games at one of the pavilions til the sun went down and the light were more visible. It was so fun! Only downside was the fact the sun didn’t go down til around 9:30. But obviously that can’t be helped.
