Service was great and food was great, my husband got a burger and it was wonderful. I got chicken tenders, and it was extremely convenient and decently priced for being inside Rock City the only thing that I would like is a bigger menu, your options are basically hot dog chicken tenders or hamburger. But if you want a bigger menu you have to walk 20 minutes through the trail to get to the cafe and it was 90° and had the feel of over 100 and both my husband and I were too hungry and decided to go ahead and eat at the grill first. We definitely don't regret it and next time we will go ahead and plan to make it to the cafe and try it!

We stopped here for lunch before we went on the Rock City Garden tour. We had a burger/fries, Chicken sandwich/fries and Chicken Tenders/fries. The food was theme park like. The price was reasonable. Just not anything that screams delicious. I would say that this place is good for a quick meal but we did have to wait a good 10 minutes for our food and we were the only people in the restaurant. The workers were nice but I would hold out for the Cafe 7 restaurant next time. Plus the view at the Cafe 7 is right at the overlook.

Somewhat mediocre food, but to be honest, it's not overly expensive so it can be forgiven. Not the greatest choice but in the larger rock seating room, the stone helps keep things cool in the summer heat. Service is taken care of by young teens, who do a good job of being polite and friendly. There's little other choice up here, so it does the job.

The food was amazing, we were there in 2010, Me my husband and 5 children. pre teen, and early teen ages. We had had a fabulous day took lots of pictures on our Nikon digital camera. We stopped in at the Big Rock Cafe to eat dinner. my husband put the camera back pack on the back of his chair, I had bought a walking stick. and put it in the corner next to his chair with the camera. We got done eating, and got up to see the rock and other thing in the cafe. I realized I didn't have my walking stick. I went back and got it, by then my husband and kids were already left the cafe. I got out of the cafe and realized he didn't have the camera, I went back in and asked about it, they were in the process of closing, we were the last customers that evening. They didn't know anything. they said, the cafe stays open because it is a restroom and an attraction part of the garden. I said, I have been in the building the whole time, went to get my stick that was by the camera, and I would have gotten the camera if it was still there. I didn't see anyone else come in or out. They denied any of their staff taking our camera. There was nobody else in that building except our family and their staff. They are dishonest, I will never ever visit...

Don't waste your money! My husband ordered a Fire on the Mountain Burger. There were no jalapenos on it. We tried to get someone from the back to help us and they couldn't hear us apparently. We seen an employee mopping in the other area and asked for help. He flat out ignored us. It would have taken him a second to go in the back to get someone to help us but he did not. I asked him again for help and he told ne "Can't you see I'm mopping?" I told him we just paid for food and we didn't receive the correct food. My husband started yelling trying to get some help. Someone finally came to help. The mopping boy apparently thought it was funny. He was laughing and told the other employee that my husband said the burger was not hot enough. It had nothing to do with the hotness, and my husband never sais that,he did not receive what he ordered. On top of that both burgers hardly had any sauce so they were very dry. Not worth the $29. This was the worst part of our trip. I do not recommend this place at all. We enjoyed Rock City but that one disrespectful employee ruined our experience...

A vegetarian diamond in the rough! Younger staff but very kind and understanding of our situation with small kids. It was almost closing time I think but he still got our dinner going which I thought was super sweet. We are vegetarians (kids involuntarily 😜) and we got 2 black bean burgers to start, one each for the kids. It was fried to a crisp, delicious actually and more so with all the fixings. I had the leftovers of kids burgers and was left wanting more so went back to get one more to go. My kids (2 and 4) had such an amazing time at this restaurant after a late afternoon visit to the Rock City Gardens. They recalled and spoke of their experience at this place more than the gardens lol. They ran around in circles around the Big Rock while waiting for their food. Really cool place. Great insta or...
