This is an outstanding branch of the library. It’s so quiet, the staff is kind, they give out free masks,used books and water bottles among other things. You can print in color for free (ten copies per person) They have computers and Wi-Fi and a clean restroom (keys at the front desk by the entrance). I come in here just to work and print things sometimes. Their selection of literature and films is fantastic. They have really interesting reads (stuff you would hope to expect to find in a cultural Mecca like Los Angeles). Read moreI started coming to the Atwater Village Library which is further for me (I’m closer to Casa Verdugo Library in Glendale) because the hours are more flexible. They are open on Saturdays and the staff is great! Alexandra is terrific!! She has assisted me several times. She’s always willing to help answer questions and spend time helping resolve printing issues and other computer glitches since I’m not as tech savvy as most. Tried signing up for a library card here and was disrespeted purposefully and repeatedly, despite my marker being changed to female and having a female name on my ID. Another friend of mine used the women’s restroom key, which they promptly took away and replaced with a neutral key after she was done using the facilities. Does not welcome women into their space.
