Parents, if you're thinking of signing up your child here: DON'T DO IT! These people only want your money! They are very disorganized and instructors are assigned by chance.
I was a student here and I got the 10 hour package, but it was a total waste of money because my instructors were all horrible teachers.
My first lesson with no experience, the instructor pulls up in a Tesla and doesn't explain that the Tesla brakes once you lift your foot off the gas. I got yelled at for stopping and going because I didn't know Tesla cars did this. She also made me go on the main streets before I got used to residential streets which made me really nervous.
Second lesson, I scheduled for driving during evening rush hour, but instead of letting me practice in a residential area, the instructor told me to go into the heavy traffic on Topanga Cyn for the whole two hour lesson. She kept yelling at me for mistakes I made but never explained how to do things properly. By the end, I was so scared of driving but she just smiled and said to sign up for more lessons with Click2Drive!!
My third and fourth lessons were also bad. My instructor let me drive on the freeway which went well, but I told him I was only comfortable in the slow lane and he made me switch to the fast lane, then told me I was too slow. I also drove through the canyons but when going downhill, the brake wasn't working. The instructor intervened, then scolded me for not pumping my brakes but he never taught me how to do that.
This company makes your fifth lesson part of the drive test on the 10 hour package so one hour is spent driving around the area before to your test. I had to call multiple times to schedule my last lesson because they would say they did it but never actually do it.
On the day of my drive test, the instructor kept making comments on the way I drove and how his way was better. He did this so much that he kept forgetting to tell me where to turn to get to the DMV for my drive test.
And the car he showed up in was apparently "the worst car out of all the instructors" in his words. The brake was faulty, the gas pedal wasn't responsive, and the car would make random pinging noises because of a problem with its door sensor. That's the car Click2Drive sent me for my drive test. I ended up using my parent's car because there was no way I could learn to drive smoothly with that car in the hour I was given before the drive test.
Future drivers, please do NOT sign up with this place if you want to learn how to actually drive. It was the worst mistake I made. For the price it costs, it's...
Read moreSo I got my permit back in September, but I never got the chance to get around to driving lessons. I took a few at a prior driving school, but honestly I wasn't happy with my instructors. I came out to Cali to visit some family while on break from school and my cousin recommended that I give Click2Drive a shot. She took like ten lessons with them, and then went for her license and passed on the first go.
So I figured I was staying with her anyway, and I may as well give it a try. I had not been in the drivers seat since November. Honestly, I am a bit nervous when it comes to driving. After my last instructor left me feeling uncomfortable with driving I just wasn't sure about it all together. But with my cousin pushing me to try again, I made a call to Click2Drive. I mentioned that I had a few lessons, but I wasn't too comfortable driving and needed a complete refresher. They scheduled me in for a lesson the following day.
When I arrived, I was very nervous about it. But the instructor was very friendly, and kind. They could see I was a bit anxious, and they just went over everything before we got started. They were very patient with me, and understanding about my driving fear! After about fifteen or so minutes, I had warmed up to the whole situation and had a great lesson. I would definitely re-visit them, I wish I had enough time to get a package so I could take all my lessons with Click2Drive. Give them a shot, you...
Read moreMy journey with Click2drive goes way back to 2018. I started off with them and had Edward as my instructor. He is hands down the most amazing instructor i have ever had in my whole driver's license journey. Although i had the best instructor my nervousness took over and i failed my test. I then procrastinated as i was out of the country multiple times and life just took over. Fast forward to today. I am a proud owner of my driver's license under the same instructor Edward. His patience with his students is to another level. He is so easy going, understanding and for someone like me who never saw this day coming by for a long time, i would HIGHLY recommend him when you are to practice for your behind the wheel test. He is such a patient and kind and gentle instructor. He really builds all the confidence you need for your driving journey. Thank you SO much Edward! I really appreciate all your support and guidance. Thank you to Que and lovely Arial who were VERY supportive and so accommodating from the beginning. I'm so glad i stuck with them...
