Food is average. Nothing to really write about. BUT I do have a gripe about Thai restaurants in general. That gripe is how stingy they are with servings. With the exception of the BEST THAI restaurant in LA which is PALM THAI in Hollywood, most dishes you get at Thai restaurants skimp on the meats added. I ordered Red Curry dish here at Pink Elephant with shrimp. Now I'm not expecting an abundance of shrimp but only 5 shrimp?! And the 40-60 count size to top it off. So if you're sharing this dish, as I did with my wife, I offer her 3 shrimp and I take the last 2. C'mon that's not right. BUT what WAS aplenty was peas. Call it Pea curry if you're gonna load the entire dish with it. And you know I had to pay extra for the shrimp and that's what makes it more egregious. Other than that, the pad Thai was decent, average. Will I go back...maybe. But I really wish I could find a decent Thai restaurant in the valley that serves really good food without costing a...

You get a choice of white or brown rice, and there are beverages as well. The food itself is fine. If you order spicy, you will get it spicy, but the chef seems to lean on a chili sauce when ordered spicy rather than adding spices to the original sauce. Anyway, as I said the food is good. It isn't exactly the quality of a full Thai restaurant..think of it as more like fast Thai. The owner is friendly and helpful, prices are moderate. Everything is take away only since the pandemic and apparently there are no plans to revert to...
Read moreVery disappointing. Tough, gummy noodles. Pungent, grey eggs. Vegetables were either obviously frozen or shriveled up and drenched in oil. Peanut sauce was so watery you could drink it.
We got takeout having read all of the good reviews- ordered a Pra Ram, Pad See Ew, Red Curry, and Spicy Eggplant. These are our favorite Thai staples, and we’ve eaten at plenty of Thai restaurants in the Valley and in Thailand. So we knew what to expect from this cuisine. Pink Elephant was something else. The staff are friendly and this did seem like a nice, genuine business, but we enjoyed NONE of...
