New Scotland Yard — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Everytime I walk into this place, the first thing i notice is..... the SMELL!! It smells SO awful. Some kind of combination of sweat, barf, smoke and piss. However, once you get pass the smell (only can be done with a few beers), you will begin to enjoy this little bar. They only have beer, wine and sake, but I don't mind the selection. They've got one pool table and two dart boards. I love coming here to play darts. One, because its free. Two, because its fun! It is a little scary when you have the regulars hogging the board, but if you come on a weekday there is usually a board that isn't being used. I love darts! The people here are pretty interesting. Definetly ranges from the youngins to grandpa status. Usually the people here are friendly, sometimes too friendly. So girls, beware for creepers. The bartenders are so nice here. I went to Scotland Yard yesterday with a friend. I have a disability that requires a service animal for medical alert. Upon arriving at this location, I was informed that no dogs were allowed. I explained that he is not a pet and he is my medical alert service animal. I was told that they do not care and "unless [I'm] blind and have a cane" I cannot have a service animal in there. I even went to the extent (even though not required by law) to explain my disability and how my dog saves my life, but they did not care.
