Eagle Rock Club Service — Attraction in Los Angeles

You have a 50/50 chance of getting into a fight if you call this tow company. AAA contacted them for me, and the first guy that arrived, right out of the gate hated me, his job, and the entire world. I had the car in tow mode, with tow hook installed, and he goes “I can’t tow backwards”… why? After I explain to him that the car only has tow spots in the back, he agrees to tow it backwards. Then he proceeds to strap chains on my rims. So I ask him, “can you use the straps that you got there, as to not damage the rims?” The guy’s response, “what is your problem? I either do it like this, or lower the car” 😂 he the. proceeds to lower the car and leaves.

So his approach is: screw you and your car, because I have leverage over you, I get to damage your car, and you can’t ask for modicum of customer service.

To the company’s credit, the second guy they sent… great. He had no issues with towing backwards, or using fabric straps for tie-downs.

The reason for the 1 star: what if the first guy happens to tow a car of a woman? (broken down, alone, on the side of the road) And he proceeds to abuse his leverage like he tried with me. Under no circumstance I’d be OK with this guy interacting with my wife or mother.

I recently had the pleasure of using Eagle Rock Club Service through AAA, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. I broke down in a neighborhood where I didn't feel safe, and when I explained this to AAA, they promptly sent a driver to assist me.

Juan arrived in about 5 minutes and immediately made me feel at ease by getting me into his clean and well-maintained truck. I was able to put my purse down without hesitation, which speaks volumes about the cleanliness of the vehicle. Throughout the 40-minute drive, Juan was not only a skilled professional but also a genuinely pleasant person to talk to. Our conversation made the time fly by, and I arrived at my destination feeling safe and well taken care of.

Juan was careful, quick, and thorough with my car, ensuring it was loaded and secured properly. I cannot thank him enough for his professionalism and kindness during what could have been a stressful situation. I’m extremely disappointed that AAA would work with a company like Eagle Rock Club Service. Their conduct was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

I contacted AAA to have my parents’ car towed into my driveway. However, the driver, Walter, refused and claimed he couldn’t do that under AAA policy. He then took advantage of my elderly mother by convincing her that the car needed to be towed to a yard so insurance could pick it up. He assured her she wouldn’t have to pay anything. This turned out to be completely false. My mother was later hit with a $2,000 bill to retrieve the vehicle.

This is a serious case of misinformation and manipulation, especially toward an elderly customer. AAA should not be affiliated with a company that treats its members this way. I hope this issue is addressed immediately and...
