Frogtowns Gourmet Tacos — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I really wanted to use Frogtown for my birthday/engagement party because I had their tacos at a friend of mine’s birthday and thought they were amazing. Unfortunately, the service I have received when trying to book them has been shockingly bad. I tried to call and I got a response to please send a text message once I did the person left me on read and totally ignored my text messages. I could see that they read them and then I sent a follow up text saying I would like to follow up on this and again they left me on read. My friend who had booked them copied me on an email chain with them and they immediately responded to my friend and then when I replied to the email thread, I got zero response for two days. Wow!!! R u kidding me… why have I not discovered these sooner

We got 1 order of shrimp tacos and 1 order of fish tacos..

The flavor was amazing , the spice was just on the money did not distract at all but really added to flavor perfectly…

The shrimp were grilled and they were darn good..

The tortillas are made right there …

A bit pricey but well worth it everyone once in a while..

On hot weekend day while taking a walk on the LA River this is a must stop

I bought 2 shrimp, 1 al pastor. The shrimp tacos were delicious. The cabbage, combination of toppings AND the salsa is tasty and compliment the tacos well. The tortillas are handmade and really good. The 3 tacos were filling. My only gripe was the pastor had a lot of fatty bits. Other than that, I would definitely come back and try their other tacos, but...
