Came here a couple times, got my haircut by the Hispanic guy and the lady in the back, they were both pretty nice. The other guy in the entrance with the long beard has horrible customer service. You walk in and doesn’t even greet you, spends lots of time on his phone while having customers sitting in his chair waiting for a cut. Very rude and unwelcoming. Always in the mood. I was visiting LA from Hawaii and had a little trouble finding a black barber in DTLA. I found Hands Above and upon arriving I was welcomed by Mr. Anthony. He was very knowledgeable about my particular hair which was great as well as all other kinds of hair. I will say I learned more in this one haircut than I’ve known about haircuts and hair in my whole life. It was a great experience and a great haircut and I’m happy to say I’ve found my barber for whenever I’m in Los Angeles...
