Iguana Vintage Clothing — Attraction in Los Angeles

Terrible and RUDE staff. We love and enjoy this store, except the customer service. The first uncounter I had with the staff was when I walked in 10 minutes before closing time just to buy something at the door and the staff literally yelled at me saying they are closed. I told her it's 10 minutes to closing and she told me to GET OUT. I asked for the manager the two girls working there claimed that they are the managers & every time after that, I called to speak with a manager they said she's on vacation or not there. Today after months of not going back I went there with my family and it was the same staff.. the same girl was helping me with some shoes. She didn't even want to look for the shoes for me, then demands me she will only look for it if I'm going to buy it!!!! Wait...what? Am I not suppose to try on both pairs to know if I'm going to buy it or not. I told her I'm here to buy and I need to try it on first. She walks with a very bad attitude away from me...walks back with the shoes and hands me the shoes with anger, then stands around me with terrible energy, huffing and puffing as I'm trying on the shoes. I really just wanted to walk out and NEVER come back here. Thankfully I saw the manager upfront and let her know about her staff and my aweful experience with her staff. She was a very nice manager....

If I could give this business a 0 stars I would. This place is racist towards brown/black folk, followed me around the entire store when I was ready to buy a lot of stuff that day. I was followed by 5 people in the store with headsets, and heard them talk about me. I was only in the store for 15 mins tops and couldn't stand it, I hadn't been in a store in so long that made me feel this way. I was even spoken to super rudely by an employee when I rejected her help because I had been asked so many times by all of them (they probably thought I was going to steal something). I shop at usually pricy vintage boutiques and love supporting small businesses, however this place made me feel extremely unwelcome. Iguana Vintage needs to open their eyes and see we live in 2019, get with the times and stop discriminating against...

I’m never one to write bad reviews because I beleive in good carma. But this time I could not stop myself. It’s too bad the service is horrible because you guys are a very cool store. I had forgotten my mask so ended up purchasing one after the Cashier asked me to, and she kept following me with a super negative energy and unwelcoming comments. And ended up asking me to leave since I tried on something Which apparently I wasn’t supposed to. She forced me to buy it and I obviously didn’t. If I knew I couldn’t try it I wouldn’t have. I never left a store with such a bad taste in my mouth. It was supposed to be a fun costume shopping and ended up putting the worst energy I could have experienced.
