Kidztopia Playground — Attraction in Los Angeles

I've been to a lot of indoor playground and I am sad to say this place is poorly managed. For a place that opened up 5 months ago, alot of things are broken. Let's start with admission fee

So website stated $25 per child. I got charge $26 at the door. Like okay, $1 difference but they need to advertise correctly. Lots of the shoe cubby doors are broken. So you can just imagine the inside what's being maintained.

Bathroom has no toilet paper or tissues....

The playground itself has a bad layout. Big slide goes off to the ball pit but to the right it's close off for the baby play area. So they just assume kids/parents are athletic enough to get around this.

Interactive projector? It just projects a fake interaction so you can watch kids/parents try to see if it works and have awkward moments that it doesn't.

Ball air pump, only few of the tubes work.

They have two trampoline. One with broken chewed foams.

You can definitely see the grime around the play area. Its not really wiped down. Its definitely superficial clean.

Most of the toys for the theme areas are missing or broken. All the dolls are missing a leg

Throughout the 2.5 hours i stayed, only one employee was there. She cleaned one table. No employee was doing clean up. Heck, Rockin kids burbank has been around for 14 years and their facility is alot cleaner, organized than this place. Rockin kidz have employees that goes around the play area every 15 minutes. Here.. i saw an employee toss a ball back to the ball pit. No vacuuming, wiping down any of the play area

This place was so unpleasant to visit it was my first time ever never going back! The lady in charge today 7-31-2024 did not even want to charge me when I got there she just looked up and down at me and sighed not to mention she was cleaning all around us and sweeping under our feet which made us feel so uncomfortable. She also took it as far as to tell my daughter to SIT down because she was sweeping. She was rude and not kid friendly at all! I want to say she was a a bit racist according to how she treated us differently to others. Which is crazy especially since English was not be first language. She also had me get up from a chair because it was to close to the wall fearing it would damage the paint! NEVER AGAIN! We’ve enjoyed coming here for playdates a few times and my kids always loved the space. Unfortunately, during our last visit there was a child who repeatedly hit my son (and other children as well). He was accompanied by his grandmother, who seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage his behavior, and the staff on duty did not step in to help.

I find it very concerning that nothing was done to address the situation. Both the lack of intervention from staff and the unsafe behavior from that child made the experience unacceptable. I will have to think twice about bringing my kids back unless I can be sure the environment is safe and supervised...
