Los Angeles Garden Weddings — Attraction in Los Angeles

The venue is amazingly beautiful! It’s like a paradise in the middle of South Central LA. My experience ended up with mixed feeling though. Sandra, her husband, and children were amazing, and treated us like family when we came to look at the location and sign the contract. Unfortunately, things went downhill a few days before our event and I ended up paying extra money for things that were not accounted for or recorded as paid when we signed the contract. Also, because the venue is located in a residential area, our musicians were constantly being asked to turn down the music and on top of that, without being given prior notification, we pretty much had to rush out of the location exactly at 12am, otherwise, I was told by her oldest son that I was going to have to pay an extra $500.00 dollars for staying beyond 12am, so, by 11:30pm I had to rush everyone out of there so that we could have the place cleaned up by 12am on the dot. Anyhow, regardless of my own experience, I have already recommended this location to a couple of friends and family members. I got married at this location and I'm glad we found this place. It truly is a hidden gem. I would say everyone that attended the wedding was in awe of how amazing this venue looks. The wedding was in September, so the amount of trees and greenery helped with the heat that was going on. The are water fountains/falls everywhere which add to the ambience. The lawn was well maintained (they recently installed turf around the dance floor). There's a dedicated dance floor with great lighting. There are two bars; one inside and a tiki bar outside. We only used the tiki bar and everyone was impressed. Another great feature is the separate fire place for those nights where it may get cold. Aside the look of this garden, my wife and I were very pleased by the customer service provided by the staff. I really feel "customer service" isn't the appropriate word to use because Sandra really made us feel as if we were family and was more than willing to help us out with any questions or concerns we had.
