Given the circumstances, especially after obtaining a third restraining order, we felt validated yet vigilant about committing to what we originally perceived as stable, safe housing due to verbal and written communications exchanged. Come to find out we gained acceptance under false pretenses which could have been disclosed as per fair housing laws. Being displaced again is not why we moved across the country, and we were not consistently treated with dignity although we were but also remain worthy tenants. I am also considering best interests of my aging immigrant parents as this property has been in our family for decades which we all tended to as well as lived in prior to your company's takeover. I will most certainly reiterate how various, documented instances contributed to this rating yet am open to amending and altering my decision with some genuine discussion about what truly occurred which has prompted such a response: simply this, so it doesn't happen again to any other people in that or any dwelling space as much as possible. I have been living for the past 2 years at a gated apartment property right near the border of Santa Monica and West LA. What I can say is that every single time I have texted the landlord, I have received an answer back within 15 minutes MAX. This includes texting the property staff at 8pm on Friday and receiving a response almost immediately on account of a clogged sink. The landlord provides landscaping services and the property is power washed every month. Its by far the cleanest complex I have lived in through my time renting in Santa Monica. I cannot stress enough that the property staff is available all the time. This is refreshing from past landlords who were very slow to respond to my requests. I am specifically very happy that the apartment complex is fully gated and secure which makes me feel safe at night when I go to bed.
