Mulholland Scenic Overlook - Hollywood Sign — Attraction in Los Angeles

An interesting scenic overlook which has a great vantage point over the Los Angeles area. Another benefit is if you go up on the hill you can look over the Hollywood sign on the mountain across. Better arrive on a clear day without a haze, usually the place is not crowded but few cars. Bring your coffee with you for a great scenic view...

Was able to get okay pictures up here but it was still pretty far away (this pic is pretty zoomed), seems "Last House on Mulholland" is way closer, or Griffith Park/Observatory.

Also overlook itself with parking was closed for some reason, but you can pull off to the side of the road close to get the view...

I decided to visit Mulholland Drive Overlook on July Fourth,but it was closed. My advice is to find a different overlook for the Fourth of July. With this said this scenic overlook is usually closed on holidays, but when open, it offers amazing views. Be aware that parking is very limited, and it...
