I know about them thru the Christian Loubotin website as one of the recommended shoes repair cobbler. I was so grateful to know that there is actually somebody who could refurbish my favorite pair of shoes. I was super excited when I finally get my pair of shoes back from Pasquale in the mail. I live in Hawaii so I got it dropped off at the store in LA and paid for the shipping to get it mail back home. Everything was great until I opened my package. My left shoe was not completely sealed (about 3 inches opened) and can see the sole and everything. I emailed Pascual immediately (Lina was the person I was in communication with) but they insisted that it was okay and if I wear my shoes over time the foam part is going to be depressed and everything will be good. I insisted I am not happy with the workmanship because who in their right mind would ever buy and wear a pair of shoes outside when it looks like it is about to fall apart.. even for pair that is $20..,don’t even talk any pair that is more than $100. I spent about $450 on the repair and $100 shipping back to Hawaii.
After not getting a response from Lina since my last email on May 23 (3rd attempt of trying to get a shipping label to be sent back to the shop), I decided to call today. Lina was rude and kept on cutting me off as I was explaining myself. She said that she isn’t going to pay for the shipping from Hawaii to LA because it is expensive 😅 and to her it was such a small opening and insisted that I should just wear it out and the foam will depressed over time. Well… it seems like my feet arched over at certain area so it doesn’t even pressed on the foam … I guess those foam area where my foot doesn’t applied force on the foam will miraculously depressed the foam and seal off the opening.
To me it is a Quality Control and Quality Assure issue. If this process was conducted thoroughly this wouldn’t have happened. Or if Pasquale even gives me a head up about the sole could be opened… I wouldn’t be surprised and unhappy with what I got. For some reason my right shoe is okay but my left shoe isn’t.. this also raises another question about the consistency of the workmanship. I did ask the question if they my shoe was sealed or unsealed when they sent it out. Per Lina, she wasn’t sure. Also I did asked that if this ever happened to anyone … she couldn’t respond directly. She went tangent and started talking about how terrible my shoes were when they were brought in… well why would I take in a pair of shoes in great condition for repair !? Why does it matter how it looks before… we are talking about how it should look like after the service. My left shoe and right shoe were 100% sealed when I brought them in.
I was under the impression that Pasquale will take full responsibly and pride in their workmanship. But according to Lina they have so many shoes they need to repair that they over see things. I understand that things happened but just own up for the things that they missed. Lina said that I’m just picky over such a small thing. I am also in luxury retail and do repairs so I know it hard. But I don’t think I have ever called any customer picky, etc. Customers have every right to be picky because it is their stuffs! i am not happy with the service and I made noise because I paid for it, but all i got was attitude for being a persistent customer. I believe I get to do that after I paid that much money for a service that was promised to me.
Lina did offer to split the shipping cost from Hawaii back to California but I don’t think I should have to do that because this should be on Pasquale since this issue is regarding their workmanship. Also after getting the attitude from Lina, I don’t think I want to even negotiate on anything. Feel like I was talking to a wall as I always get interrupted and cut off and had to hear her opinions about me 😅. Lina also said she will send me the glue and I can glue the opening myself. We shall see if this will get...
Read moreI shipped my brand new Louboutin boots to Pasquale a year ago to have them weather proofed and sole protection applied. Upon receiving them back they were scuffed and scratched. I had to return them to have the scratches buffed out. Jump forward to September this year and on day one of wearing them the soles peeled back at the toes to the point I could not wear them. I contacted customer service and was told 'sorry' we'll fix them but postage will be at your expense. It was clear they didn't stand by their work so I had them repaired locally after researching online. The outcome and level of customer service was incredible. They were embarrassed and shocked at the state of my boots. As it turns out the soles were not even prepped for the new soles. They had just slapped them on. I sent these to Pasquale as Louboutin references them on their website. I will never use this...
Read moreThese Loubies are the first pair I’ve ever purchased and I’m pretty jazzed about them. My husband and I went to Rodeo Drive to get them and for my first time I wanted to walk right out the door with them on my feet. The only reason I was able to do something so scandalous was because I had already researched the red bottom repair and knew I’d be taking them to Pasquale anyway. So, why not?! I looked at a lot of options, even overseas. And there’s no one else out there that will make the bottoms look so close to fresh outta the box. I had them do my Jimmy Choo as well that got a little beat up on my wedding weekend. They were even able to help me out with the bar stool marks I made on the inside of the heel because I’m a noob. Thanks guys!
PS- they have...
