Absolutely my wife and I had a fantastic time staying here. The building is an old mansion which gives a quaint atmosphere that you're walking into somebody's well-designed house. We stayed in the Hollywood room which was spacious and tucked away at the top of the stairs. The chef makes fresh breakfast in the morning at a communal table. Great coffee, great company, great prices. This is one of those hidden gems in LA. The owner of the home was new to the bed and breakfast business so some things weren't what the typical traveler expects. Recently I needed a place to stay for a few nights while I was in LA. The house has been totally remodeled and all the rooms have their own bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised by all the changes. Read moreI stayed at this place because it was cheap and close to where I needed to go. It's a mom and pop place and run like one. They give you the kitchen and most of the ground floor to work with. It's not beautiful but it is relatively clean and well maintained. The major downsides were that the WiFi doesn't work well, the room is tiny (8x9ft,the bed takes up most of the room space), the fruit in the basket was somewhat old and rotten, and the people in charge were not always accessible except during daylight hours.
