On the plus side, they have a designated small dog side that is separate from the big dog side. There is an easily accessible watering area. They have desiganted entrance and exit gates that are double gated so that dogs are less likely to escape. The people who hang out at this park are awesome. Fun loving, good spirited, dog people. They not only enjoy the company of dogs, but the humans who accompany them also. Introduce yourself, have a great conversation, and watch your dogs play together. There are a few nice seating areas. A couple of fixed picnic benches, a bench, and some plastic chairs you can move around. Stuff that's good to know for you and your dogs.. There is not much shade, so if you're visiting on a hot, sunny day, bring a hat and some sunscreen. There is not much grass, so it cn be dusty on a windy day. Bring the puppy wipes to keep your car free of dusty dog paw prints. If you're driving to the park, parking can be tough. Be prepared to loop a couple of times to find a spot. If you're bringing an older dog, there are hills on the walk to the park thy may be difficult for those with hip and or...
Read moreThis dog park was a dismal disappointment in every aspect. The sparse, unkempt grounds offered little more than dirt patches in the sunny areas, with scattered grass patches giving a forlorn impression. The only silver lining was the proximity of another dog park specifically for small dogs nearby.
The park's infrastructure was in disarray, with the poster board area being messy and park signage either defaced with tags or covered in stickers. Shockingly, there was no provision for water, leaving pets and their owners without a basic necessity.
My dog was visibly disinterested and bored during our visit, a stark departure from his usual excitement. It was evident that he longed to leave, which is a rare occurrence as he typically enjoys outings. If you cherish your pet's well-being and enjoyment, I strongly advise against bringing them here.
Parking was a nightmare, forcing me to park across a busy street in a residential area and navigate the traffic just to reach the lackluster park. In summary, this dog park is a place to avoid at all costs for both you and your...
Read moreWe usually travel about 30m to an hour depending on traffic to come here because it's perfect for us. Naturally it's divided with two separate fences, one for small dogs and the other for large breeds. It's mainly a dirt area but like i said it's not a problem for us dogs have fun and that's it. Most of the time we go people respect the unseen rule of leaving the smaller breeds in the small pen and etc.. but of course there is always those who still put their Chihuahuas in the big pen where the great Danes are lmao. Not that I'm discriminating the smaller breeds but it does get tiresome seeing these owners looking at my dog dirty because he is curious a small dog is surrounded by bigger dogs lol. Apart from that. If your dog is fixed and social this place is for you, rarely does it happen that owners bring their unfixed dogs to the park or don't correct their behaviour when their dog is showing signs of stress and aggression. Please keep an eye on your dogs and behaviour either way and together we can keep making this dog park amazing for everyone...
