Silver Lake Reservoir — Attraction in Los Angeles

Uh, it’s a reservoir. What am I comparing it to? Other reservoirs? Well it’s no Lake Hollywood. There isn’t much shade on certain sides and it’s a dirt path all around it. Not sure why it isn’t concrete. It’s not like it’s soft grass and low impact for the runners. It’s still compacted earth. Would be nice if it had more water fountains around. Or ones that worked most of the time. But at least the Meadow is on one side, dog parks on another and the quaint recreation center area to chill at because most hipster like to sit in the meadow in the direct sunlight for some reason. I used to live by the reservoir and had the opportunity to jog around the reservoir every day. It's a 2.5 mile loop. I'd get an easy 5 mile jog every day. I felt I'd get to breath fresh air every day. There's a dog park as well. The reservoir went through some renovations recently and pics were taken few months ago. Parking is on the side of the street and is free. You can park and walk or jog around...
