It’s a very charming gallery with a curated selections of artwork that are both thought-provoking and accessible. As I step inside, I’ve experienced a very welcoming and intimate atmosphere. Staff was very approachable and enthusiastic. I joined the “Divine Feminine” exhibition and I was amazed by the pieces of multiple local artists. The pieces were able to capture the feminine essence in so many levels, as delicate, strong, provoking, and somehow mystical. I had to sign up for one of their workshops as well and my partner and I had a lot of fun. It was a lovely evening.

Lina and the staff at Echo Park Art are fantastic, and their events are always a grand time. The gallery openings, closings, and workshops feature performance (live and dj music, performance art, dance) as well as paintings, drawings, and sculpture. Highly recommend, from both an artist and collectors perspective.

I had the pleasure of being introduced to this art gallery through taking their palette knife painting and acrylic pour classes, which were incredibly enriching experiences for my own artistic practice and the classes are very reasonable priced!

Following these classes, I arranged a private appointment to collect my pieces from the class and look at the gallery's artwork more in depth and was blown away by the artwork on display. Not only did I encounter pieces from crazy good artists, but I also stumbled upon works by an Instagram artist I admire, greatly which was a delightful surprise because I never expected to see their work in person! The gallery has their finger on the pulse! They really know who's emerging talent and that shows you this gallery really knows what they're doing. The artwork is so well curated - MUST SEE. If I could afford the work I would buy several pieces.

The selection of artwork here surpasses any other gallery I've visited worldwide. Beyond the art, the warmth and friendliness of the owner, instructors, and staff, this gallery is truly exceptional. Highly recommend for both classes, purchasing art from emerging artists, and admiring remarkable art! I haven't yet been to one of their many events but I plan to as they look awesome on...

Artist perspective- gallery was not open at consistent times and minimal staffing meant that viewing art required an appointment time. This means you have less of a likelihood of someone spontaneously finding your piece and then buying it. 2 events as promised during the group show, second one was scheduled at the last minute. You basically have one opportunity to sell your work here. They still take a considerable split. They’re quite small and not near the rest of the art area of LA. I was personally annoyed that my piece - which was meant to be shown as two halves side by side - was split across the room. I should have been more clear about that during my drop off.

The staff IS very friendly. The space was well laid out and there was a cohesive flow to the group event. However I wasn’t necessarily surprised to see that nobody sold a piece during the group show period.

I hope to see more events here so artists have more of an opportunity to reach the public and sell their work. Seeing this place become even more a part of the community...
