In A Nutshell:
-The Temescal Canyon Trail is just okay, but could be better if whoever is in charge would cut back some of the overgrown brush & branches along the trails. -If you are tick adverse & don't want to chance getting them on you especially during the summer months, I wouldn't suggest this trail. -I did a tick check & did not get any ticks, but the chances of them landing on you are exponentially greater due to the overgrown brush you rub up against. -Most people hike the various trails, but I decided to do a nice 4 mile loop run. -The workout itself is very satisfying along w/ the nice, overcast weather. -I would imagine the views to be nice after the low lying clouds dissipate. -Parking is $12 per day, just pay using your credit card at the parking machine.
