Bonjour Fête - A party supply boutique — Local services in Los Angeles

I was in Bonjour Fete in the (Pacific) Palisades Village this morning which has beautiful & unique party goods and decor, BUT they do not seem to care about the customers and giving convenient, thoughtful and timely service. The website says they open at 10, so I waited an hour to get in at 11. When I mentioned that to the sales clerk, she brushed it off as, "yeah they changed the hours now 11-7, not 10-6". Well, changing the website would be a nice gesture, and no "I'm sorry" or how long did you wait? Then she helped a customer as I waited to look at some objects high on a shelf, telling me i could not climb the ladder, so I waited longer, as 3 more customers came in the store. Another sales clerk walked in and helped those others customers. Needless to say I climbed the ladder myself after waiting at least 25 min. and I was the 2nd person who walked in the store and it was already 11:35. The color I was looking for was not right so I left the store. While there, I overheard a lady waiting for a balloon pickup at 11:30 which the sales clerk said was running late, and would not be ready at least until 11:45, so she left the store and went elsewhere. Another customer commented about Saturday morning birthday parties and how they often start earlier and the need to often pick up balloons early on a Saturday morning and the sales clerk said yeah sorry we don't open earlier. Oh my goodness, how is a business like this so clueless to not being willing to cater to the needs of the community??? I don't get it. I'm SORRY THAT IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, and it of course starts with the owners and their decisions. It is not the employees fault. I was thinking this is a terrible set up and the Palisades is full of young families who would have a need to shop early on a Saturday morning at a party supply store. The clerks were pleasant and helpful, but after 11 on a Saturday morning many people have party supply needs right away.
